Hello! I have a Maytag dryer Model #MED3500FW1. Today the "Check Lint Screen" light went on and the dryer stopped. I removed and replaced the dryer vent hose and cleaned out all the lint where it attached to the outside wall. I also did a hard reset, unplugging the unit for 5 minutes. The light is still on and the dryer won't work.I'm getting the dreaded "Check Lint Screen" light. The thermal fuse is good. Though the thermistor was close to within tolerances I changed it. Still no joy. There's a clicking coming from the rear of the machine when I hit the start button.
