I have had both at my house and Xfinity had random outages frequently and inconsistent speeds. It’s $60/mo, has no data cap, is completely wireless (uses 5G/4G), and my speed tests show about 190-ish down and 40-ish up (more than enough for streaming). It supports up to 64 devices. I use Metronet and they are great. I'd say try astound just to get away from Comcast as long as the contract can be broken for cheap/nothing and you can go back to comcast. I agree with this.Xfinity will give you 1.2Gbps down for a similar price (including introductory discounts) but 30Mbps up with no option of buying faster upload. In the age of WFH, cable internet offerings are a bit of a joke, but competition is extremely thin. You're lucky in Cow Hollow because there's no buried utilities. I had Comcast for 7 years, it constantly went out. My internet would time out checking email. Tech support was bad, the only solution was to constantly reset my modem…not always an option when I wasn’t physically home..
